First and foremost, I’m a follower of Jesus Christ.  I’m married to my amazing and super talented wife – Lois Ann.  We have 3 sons – Micah Jr, Collin, and Gavin.  We are a very competitive family that loves all things sports, competition, and outdoors.

 

Lois Ann and I are big believers in chasing God Given dreams and goals.  We pursue goals with hard work, determination, perseverance, and GRIT!  We have both achieved a lot of our goals in life but continue to chase more that God has given us visions for!  Our life experiences have taught us that yes, grit and hard work are important to achieving goals but having the right culture is a key piece as well.  This is the mindset and culture we have created in our home for our sons as well as the culture we have created at Chick-fil-A, Alexander City, AL where Lois Ann is the Owner/Operator.  And I am so passionate about Grit that I named my company after it – Grit Army (an athletic apparel lifestyle brand) – in the hopes of encouraging and promoting more grit in the world! 

 

We have not perfected Grit nor the perfect culture in both family and work, but we continue to learn and improve along the way.

 

I enjoy sharing and teaching others the lessons I have learned over the years when it comes to building grit in all aspects of life - physical, mental, spiritual, and relational.  And along with Grit, building a winning culture in both family and work life.  Without those 2 things, I do not believe you will ever achieve your full God given potential!
